The Efficiency 1st Program is our flagship energy saving initiative for our residential electric customers. This fully digital experience is designed to help simplify energy conservation by providing free Home Weatherization Kits and Smart Home Energy Kits to participating customers.

Start improving your comfort and lowering your energy bills by completing a quick online energy survey and agreeing to install the free energy-efficiency kits in your home.

Eligibility:

Be a Florida Public Utilities Residential Electric Customer
Complete our online Residential Energy Survey
Agree to install both the Weatherization Kit contents and the Smart Home Energy Kit contents when provided.

Additional Details:

Upon completing the Residential Energy Survey, participants will receive the free Home Weatherization Kit, along with online guides showing how to install the weatherization accessories throughout their home.
Once participants submit confirmation that the weatherization accessories have been installed, participants will then be eligible to receive the Smart Energy Kit.
Customers are eligible to reapply for this rebate after 5 years from the last fulfillment date.
