FPU Lends ‘Girl Power’ To Build Homes For Charity
May 13, 2012—Nearly a dozen of FPU’s female employees raised their paint rollers (and various other tools) to participate in ‘National Women Build Week’ for Habitat for Humanity, which began May 5th. Dedicating a day’s work to help build affordable housing in the New Smyrna Beach area, FPU’s volunteers were among the 35,000 other women across the country taking a hands-on approach to help community members in need.
- Employee-volunteers from FPU’s Central Florida East division ‘tightened their tool belts’ and tackled such tasks as priming ceilings, creating landscaping and more.
