May 21, 2014—FPU Energy Conservation Representative Mason Brock delivered an energy conservation presentation to third graders during Career Day at Liberty Park Elementary School located in Greenacres.
Turning the lights off when you leave the room, keeping doors closed to reduce the loss of conditioned air and being safe around electric sockets to avoid injury were among the various tips included in Brock’s conservation message. The visit was a continuation of FPU’s ongoing initiative to educate school-aged children on topics relating to Energy Conservation, and Mason Brock will be among the FPU Representative traveling to difference schools in upcoming months.
“FPU is a leader in economic and community development, and making a real impact on the families in Palm Beach County. We are glad we were able to arrange for Mr. Brock to visit one of our local elementary schools in our Chamber’s footprint,” said Wayne Burns, CEO of the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
