Okeechobee, FL (February 11, 2014)—FPU is pleased to announce that it will join Florida State Park Service, Williamson Cattle Company and the various other organizations set to co-sponsor the 2014 Battle Of Okeechobee Reenactment. Marking the Second Seminole War Battle Reenactment, the upcoming three-day event will take place Friday, February 21 through Sunday, February 23 at Okeechobee Battlefield Historic State Park.
In addition to battle reenactments, this year’s entertainment roster will feature a wide range of attractions, including Irish folk music, pow wow dancing, children’s horse rides, an alligator demonstration, and a special appearance by Historical Artist, Guy LaBree!
Admission is $10.00 per car. Gates open at 10 A.M. Battle reenactments begin at 2 P.M. Funds, including donations and sponsorships, will benefit preservation efforts for the Park and its surrounding habitat. Let the Battle begin…
